Terms & conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your use of LOOT. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

LOOT is a perk and offer aggregator. We display offers associated with cards, bank accounts, phone contracts, and memberships that you tell us you hold. We do not verify your ownership of those products, connect to your accounts, or initiate any transactions on your behalf. LOOT is an information tool — all purchasing decisions are yours.

2. Accuracy of offers

Offer information is sourced from our community of Scouts and manually verified. While we work hard to keep it current, offers may change, expire, or vary by account without notice. Always confirm the current terms directly with the merchant or card provider before spending. LOOT accepts no liability for decisions made based on offer information displayed in the app.

3. Founding membership

📌 The founding membership is a one-time, lifetime payment. This section explains exactly what that means.

4. Scout credits and prizes

5. User conduct

By using LOOT, you agree not to:

Violations may result in account suspension, forfeiture of credits, and where appropriate, legal action.

6. Data and privacy

We collect and store personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using LOOT you consent to this collection and use. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@loot.app.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code within LOOT is owned by or licensed to LOOT. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. User-submitted offer data (Scout submissions) is licensed to us on a royalty-free basis for use within the service.

8. Liability disclaimer

LOOT is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, LOOT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to missed savings, expired offers, or incorrect offer information. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us in that period.

9. Third-party services

LOOT uses Stripe for payments, Supabase for data storage, and Vercel for hosting. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties beyond our contractual obligations to you.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify founding members by email if we make material changes. Continued use of LOOT after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will never retroactively remove the core lifetime access benefit from founding members.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
